Top 70 - not too shabby, considering. I like the nostalgic sense of it. Sure is Texas!!!! Congrats. |

I once knew a tractor like that.
Love the soft colors and the echo in the fence
of human abandonment. |

Nice rural image, I really like the composition here and the purple color of the flowers contrasted with the bleak light yellow colors of desolation. |

Wow, what a fantastic old piece of vintage machinery..... Life after death, re the tractor and the fresh mauve flowers..... |

I might be mistaken, but are those bluebonnets? The title fits really well. Lovely shot! The only thing I might have done differently would have been to crop out a little more of the trees in the background, they seem to detract more than add to the photo. However, that's just an opinion, I bet there's plenty of people who disagree :) |

I would place the camera in the level of the tractor or the flowers, avoiding the vires .Photos taken from 5-6 feet high are not scored good. |

I think I have this in my favorites somewhere! I really like the contrast of the harsh, rusted tractor and barbed wire against the softness of the field and flowers. |

Lovely rural study. The purple fowers scattered about and the flow of the fence are neat. The old tractor looks lost in thought. -9- |

I love the field and the texture of the image but I feel maybe it should be a closer view of the Tractor given the title
Overall a nice pleasing image well done |

this is a great shot but I wish you could see more in the main next to the tractor, if it is a man. Making that figure discernable would yield a 10 from me (but I can't vote on member challenges) |

This definitely evokes the idea of an era gone by. It's quite melancholy in that it also implies that the strengths of that era have been discarded and are no longer cherished. I like the purple flowers and fence. I'm not sure the dark tree line adds to the shot. I'd also love to see this taken during the afternoon when the sun casts a much richer colour of light onto the image. |
