One of the best photos in this large challenge. What I really love about his image is the fact that the figure makes the scale of this image. The river looks humangous. The lighting is perfect (although you do have a tiny bit of highligh burnout above the figure). Beautiful piece of art. |

A beatiful scene that sets a mood. I wish the fisher was wearing a red shirt or something so he stood out more from his surroundings but that's very likely something you had no control over. The water is a bit too contrasty--I'd like to see more midtones. Water can be a difficult subject to capture though. |

I like the color and mood of this...though the sharpness of the image seems a bit soft and the person being in the center like that is distracting. It may have actually been better if they weren't there at all. |
