 Stunning day, low light, beautiful location - what more could you want.

I had a fabulous time with this shoot as everything was so beautiful. The most difficult thing at this time of the day is in balancing exposures against the sun to maintain detail in the darker foreground. Easier than it sounds as the sun is going fast and there is just a minute or two to get the shot so there's no time for tripod setups and the like. That means hand held and trying not to get any motion blur. Everything was happening so fast that I switched from TIFF to JPEG in camera to speed up the shooting. This was a JPEG.

This shot saw me hugging one of those white topped post, my arms wrapped around it to brace the camera which was hanging out over the water.

Post processing - none! Seriously. I ,essed about with it for hours and in the end I stuck a border around it and uploaded. Oh, USM after reduction, there's no way you don't have to do that.
