thanks for the comments.
a couple od people commented on using the full 640px limit... I have!
and the grain... well that's just the way the fabrix was that I used.
I didn't feel like it was a problem, but I just might try and remove some of it to see if I like the picture any better!

Interesting, but the photo is a little too small. It's best if you can utilize the full 640 pixel limit. |

I think a closer crop to cut out some of the out of focus area would help, as would using the full 640px limit. |

Nice lines/curves leading to a simple and elegant flower. Nice use of DOF. I like the color tone too. |
