Thank you Alice and all of you people for you comments!
As Astronomy is my major interest (side by side with Photography of course!), this is one more "astro"-photo related with our parent star's destiny. There was not muct post processing at this image, Mainly the camera's settings helped to capture this specific view.
But you can't imagine how impressive and spectacular it was in my eyes also. The clouds were moving just at the edge of the road, and Sun's light gave them an orange color... amazing. Fortunately I was lucky enough to keep this moment!

Greetings from the Critique Club

Pascal! This is the second time I've been lucky enough to draw one of your images to critique.

Frankly, I love this image. As an avid Science Fiction reader, I can relate easily to this depiction of the civilization's last moments. There we are, driving off the cliff to infinity.

I guess you were the victim of "Did Not Meet the Challenge" voters who couldn't see the very defined shapes in this image well enough to give you a good score.

The fact that you have a 'blown out' portion of the sky is perfect for this interpretation. The color of the center pavement stripe is gorgeous. The sky is gorgeous.

I cannot offer any critical comment. I can only sympathise.

Good luck in your next Challenge.

Alice

haha i love the Champagne Supernove song right now so i think this is brightening up my vote. <3
as for the technical i think maybe a few stops quicker on the exposure. the sun a bit to bright for the eyes.

This could be an interesting sunset picture -- I like the curve of the road -- but for this challenge I don't think it really fits very well. Also, it's a bit painful to look at the middle of it with the brightness.

A little darker would look better to me. Interesting how you got the sun and colors.

It would have been great if the shape of the sun was more defined
