This is a checkboard that we have on our wall. I played with the timing to get a 3-D effect.

Greetings from the Critique club. I have looked over your image and have some comments and suggestions for you. First off meeting the challenge, you did that well. You have a definate pattern. This image scored poorly and there are reasons why. First off the motion blur doesnt work well with this pattern. Although it works on some photos I'm not sure it works here. It actually gives me a headache to look at it very long. I understand the 3d thing, and if I cross my eyes I can see it. However the voters arent going to do that while voting. I think you may have done better with this photo to use the pattern and use a few checkers to set it off. Good luck with future challenges.

This is a bit too blurry, it is a good representaion of a pattern, and would have scored higher if it were not for that.

At first I didn't like it, but then the movement blur kicked in and gave it a nice effect.

I'm drunk. You know what? the longer I stare at this, the better it seems. I see motion in here, I mean the picture actually seems to be moving here. I am going to give it a 10. way to go.

Interesting - not my taste though. Seems unfocused - maybe that was what you were aiming for.

Motion blur?

Looks like you shot this with a slow shutter and moved the camera. It just makes it look like a blurry photo of a checkerboard. The blur distracts from the pattern.

Fits the challenge for sure, but I don't personally like the apparent motion blur.

The image needs to be sharper.

This is a bit painful to look at. You certainly have a pattern happening, but I do wish it was in focus/without motion blur.

I would like this better if it was in focus. Adding a checker to one of the squares would have added interest.

Looks out of focus to me.

Not sure what you were trying to do here but the pattern would have been fine without the movement (or camera shake). 3

I like the creativity and the fact that you're trying to think outside of the box (or boxes as the case may be :D) But this one just isn't working for me. 6 for creativity.
