The thick border really takes away from the picture. |

great concept, good execution weakened by the black flecks in the upper right |

Good shadow capture. Not sure what lighting was used but maybe some WB to get a little more of natural background color. A white background would have made the image "pop" a little more. |

yes abstract, yes shadows, no pattern
focus it too soft. Paralell or squared off lines and better focus could have made this shot unique. |

A good idea. I wish you had shown it much bigger. You've wasted a lot of your pixel allotment on the ugly black border. |

Oh my ....... that border :-( Nice enough abstract, otherwise. Whitebalance looks a little off. |

3 - Looks like good potential. Criticism; frame is too thick in my opinion, especially for here/this size. Size also, if this were 640 width would have helped it. If the focus were a little sharper, even just on one strand/stick/'whatever' and the lighting adjusted (this looks too artificial and has a slight 'tint' to it), would have made this better in my opinion. |

Are these pick-up sticks? The shadow effect is nice, but there's something a little off in the focus, I think. Nice abstract though. |
