** Greetings from the Critique Club **

I find this to be an interesting shot - great perspective. The light coming through is a bit harsh and would have been improved by adjusting your exposure factors. A real shame as it looks like there would have been a lot more detail. The composition is okay, although for shots like this a little bit of an angle that elongates is my preference - but not necessarily what you were after. I do think the off-centering was a good choice. Good leading lines here. Keep up the cfreative thinking and good luck with your future entries.

- Linda

Nicely done. Is this a saquaro? Love the perspective.

It took me a couple of seconds, but then I saw the light :-)

Good patterns here. The subject is not terribly interesting to me, but certainly meets the challenge.

Too blown. Difficult to "read".

6 - Interesting. Looks like an unusual perspective, whatever it is. Back PC to see what this is. Criticism; 640 width would have given this a little extra. Depending on opportunity, a slight focus adjustment to try to exclude that branch/whatever in the 'background' on the left, may have enhanced the pattern effect in this shot and given it more impact in my opinion.

Fascinating perspective and shadows. What kind of plant was it?
