i think this pic has not scored as it deserved probably because a large number of voters are from US and Europe and they lack in knowledge about cricket. For them its difficult to appreciate this.

This looks like a great Aussie cricket photo! Well captured and well timed. The colours are great and you've framed perfectly to the action. Good work!

Good shot, the action is stopped and the focus is good, and the subject fits the challenge.

If only that long white sign were higher.

From your title I was looking for a ball on the ground. To my untrained eyes it looks like he has caught it. I like the green field against the white uniforms. The background G10 wall/line is a bit distracting, but I know that couldn't be helped.

I don't know cricket, so I'll have to take your word for it. Good action picture.

Great capture. Some of the voters might have a problem appreciating this, but I really like it .. great moment captured.

7 - Good .. 'catch'. Color is good. Criticism; difficult, but more detail would have made this better but obviously camera/lens dependent. Depending what you had to work with, perhaps a nudge rotation up on the left and a crop trying to gain more symmetry and get the boundary line 'level', may have made this even better in my opinion. Not sure on the frame, 'works', but at this size perhaps is a little too dominant, again, in my opinion.

Ouch! As a South African cricket fan, that really hurts.

With fielding like that ... looks like the Test series in England in the summer! Great action picture. 9

This looks slightly over processed. A faster shutter speed might have sharpened up the stop action. Great "catch" of the moment though. 6

Was this at the MCG? I'm sure i saw this happen. But with all the catches S.A. dropped, I could be wrong! Nicely taken!

Looks a bit oversharpened for me but is a good sports photo.
