I didn't vote on all the photos in this challenge, but if I had reached this, it would have been a high mark for sure. This an HM_8216 are the best; it must have been hard to choose between them. |

the spring is a plumbers pipe bending tool (3/4 in)
most images were done from 1. - 1.5m (3-5.5 feet) off the ground 30-120seconds
done on a black background as the light splashed from white & caused a great deal of glare ...

Looks like a screensaver, but by the validation I'm sure it's not. Love the green it really pops out. |

This is mesmerizing -- simple and clean and detailed. If it had been vertically centered (which is just the way I'd prefer it and is in no way 'the right way'), I'd have liked it even better. |

I would love to do one of these some day. Not sure how it is done or what you have to do it. I really aching to see the very fine pattern in this closer and am not sure what you could have done to help that. But the pattern is GREAT. |

Very interesting pattern here. I'll be interested to read about how you did this. I think this shot could benefit from some cropping of the empty spaces at the bottom and top of the image. |

Is this something mundane, like a computer screen saver, or something more interesting? Here's hoping for more interesting... Anyway, it's a neat image. :-) |
