 I saw the shape of the broken ice, the lines in the clouds, the trees and the ice leading to the house in the background, and especially the reflections of the ice in the water, and thought it would make a really good photo. Had the circular polarizer on as well, that's why the sky and the reflections of the ice look the way they do. I like the effect.

This is a really nice shot. Good color and the little house at the end really draws your eye all the way into the photo.
