Greetings from the Critique Club
Lots of people like to stare at the sun, and you did a masterful job of depicting this Username.
Excellent use of lighting to capture those grasses in the foreground which give the viewer a nice reference on the way back to the hills, sun and gorgeous sky.
It's a classic example of good photography and the voters rewarded you with a nice score.
I can only wish you continued success in DPC and look forward to seeing more of your work. |

Fits the challenge. My favorite part is the sun shining through the brush in the right foreground. Beautiful place wherever it is. 7 |

Gorgeous sunset.. love the framing of the highlighted plants, the blue peeking through the sky, and the layers created by the mountains. Only thing missing is a person in the picture to indicate "staring at the sun" as the username suggests. |

The nice light coming off the bushes in the foreground makes this a really nicely balanced composition. You have adjusted or left the darkness in the hills just right and the sky and sun look great. |

what makes this photo special is the grass on the bottom right, and of course, the colourful cast sky. 9 |

Stare_at_the_sun seems to be one of the most popular usernames, but this really suits the challenge and is a triffic image......I just luv it. Top ten for sure, and it may even ribbon. Tops in my book...... |

There are quite a few with this name. This is my 2nd favorite. I like the deep rich sunset hues. It would be perfect if you had an animal or human silhouette to actually be looking at it, but then you can't always create nature (or models ) LOL
Nice - 7 |

dynamic range here is very wide, the bright sun and the dark shadows. Unfortunately the shadows have lost out with some terrible noise in there. |
