I love this! The only thing I might suggest is to focus on that front candle, but still leave the rest unfoccused in a shallow DOF. Beautiful shot. |

Hi from the critique club,
The first thing i do when i look a photograph is figure out how it is affecting me, what kind of message the photographer was trying to get across and whether or not they accomplished that goal. When i first saw this photograph i thought to myself, very nice depth of feild and good composition. As i looked at it further i sarted to think that a slightly larger depth of feild would look nice in order to see that metal bar directly behind the front candle.
I think that what brought this photos score down is that i dont really see NightShy in this photograph. Myabe if there was a person in the background the point would be made better.
Your camera work was very good for this shot. I know thats its pretty hard to get a good candle shot and you accomlished that well here.
