 As soon as this challenge came up, I thought of doing Alienyst's name for it. Picked up some monster finger puppets and the bird pen and put them together in one of my plants with a little nest I had around to make the aliens.

Post-processing with PSP9: cropped, some spot usm and dodge on nest, curves, bc, levels, colour balance (to make it more alien), resized and usm for upload.

Thank you for the comments. I overprocessed the "aliens" on purpose to give them a radioactive glow so they would be more alien like. Also majorly changed the color balance to alter the plant color. There was no flash used at all, only the natural light. Guess the voters didn't like the look... oh well, live and learn!

Tee hee. Cute concept. I think with a little less grain and a less harsher flash and more clarity this could be a really good, fun photo.

Too much saturation, sharpening, or some other post processing problem. The reds look radioactive on my screen. :(
