A very foggy morning, no wind, and a spyder to make a web is all it took for this one. Cropped, contrast and saturation boost, and sharpening were done in Photoshop. Saved for WEB.

A few strands in foreground I would have liked to have seen a bit sharper, otherwise I like the blurred background, the second bud blurred. I like the layout (camera position)

6 - Nice. Criticism; especially for this Challenge, if the web were more dominant (zoomed/tighter crop quality dependent), would give this more impact in my opinion. Like the 'deadheads'' effect.

I think I'd crop out most of the dead roses and just zoom in on the beautiful spider web.

OK, I think that the picture is supposed to show the pattern of the spider's web, a great take on the challenge. However, I think that the effect this picture could have is lost by the photographer not having got close enough to the subject, too many extraneous elements that do not add anything to the picture. (6)
