Not a terribly imaginative take on the username, and kind of a boring composition. The only interesting bit is it was lit using only a flashlight. I went with black and white since the user crayon has two challenge entries to date, both of which are b&w.

post-processing:
crop
saturation
selective sharpen
selective blur
levels
clone

I like the simplicity of your entry. There's some banding in the gradation as it moves away from the crayon, but overall, I like it. 7

amazingly effective for such a simple photograph. looks like you did a long exposure w/ light painting - very well done.

After coming back to this I have changed my mind and am bumping it up to a 7. At first the shot just seemed too easy...but I highly doubt I could make a crayon look that cool so GOOD job.

Very cool. I like the way the lighting isolates the crayon. Nicely done.

took some nerve to do a crayon in B/W :-) It's nicely done, if a bit sterile...

I find the border distracts from the simplicity of the image. Nice use of lighting and b/w.
