** Greetings from the Critique Club **
There is not much in focus here. Shallow DOF needs to have at least part of the subject in sharp focus, compared to the surroundings being in gradually softer focus. The image lacks appealing colors, or subject matter in my mind. Sorry, it just seems to be an image you entered last minute just to be in the challenge - nothing you would have taken to please yourself. Perhaps I'm wrong on that - that is just the feeling I get.

I really like what you are going for here. To me, it sort of looks like the hand is going through an aura or the like. I really wold have like the foreground to have different lighting. JMO. |
