 Lousy Sunday in CA, raining, my son has the stomach flu and his sis has nothing to do. Perfect time to get DOF shot as she sulked by the window.

I wanted to get more of the window in the picture to bring out the theme, but unfortunately she had a couple of wild hairs that were very distracting - and of course, this is Basic Editing, so I could not just clone them out. I hope the tight crop doesn't kill the theme - although it actually brings out more of the DOF, soooo.....we'll see what you all think.

Post processing - crop, levels, resize, USM, border.

Cute subject. I think allowing more of the background into the image, thus more opportunity to show DOF would've helped this image.

Hmm, the shallow DOF gives a strange effect in this image... I'm not sure I can explain it, but slightly unsettling. (nice, though.)

Great crop and focus, but the rear eye being out of the focal area is a little distracting. The color is perfect. 8
