This is one of the coolest things I have seen. I have been looking for a waterfall to shoot for some time and watching the news the other day they did their weather "live shot" in front of this. Turns out it's only 20 minutes from my house. The water is still very much flowing despite the 6 degrees it was in MN when I was shooting.
Shot the picture in RAW format. Used PSCS to edit the picture. temp=12750, tint= +19, exposure = +1.10, shadows= 43, brightness= 74, contrast = +25, saturation= 0
USM 185%, resize, USM 65%, save for web |

if it weren't raining so much here in Iceland I'd say this was an icelandic picture... maby from the northern part of the country.. think there's still some snow there :)
like the shot, could also be fear of cold... |

| 7 - Good shot. Coloring is good and the white control seems fairly good too. Criticism; not much, perhaps a variation in the crop at the top. |

Breath taking shot. It's too pretty for me to feel any fear from it. Still a higher scorer for me.

| Without any reference points it's difficult to tell how large this ice structure is. The image doesn't really convey a sense of fear. |

| How does a frozen water fall convey the fear of "rivers of running water"? Doesn't for me. Nice waterfall, though! |
