 Chased my wife up and down the waterfront this morning as she ran I pedalled ahead and then jumped off my bike to take a few shots as she ran by....
Shot it at about 10th of a second with the flash set to second curtain.... should have picked a better morning.... one that was a little overcast.... oh well, you leave things until the last minute and see what happens?
I'm quite pleased with the result, would have preferred to have had the flash freeze the final step a little more, but that's something I can work on when I have more time.
Doubt it will go well here, I seem to see things differently to the masses. But I quite like it. Will probably reshoot when the time permits.

Good use of shutter speed to say "speed". However the bright light around the runners head is distracting and I would have like to see her legs more centered.

Interesting effect. The bright area at the top is a bit distracting.

Unlike most of the shots this week, the blurred effect works well here - probably because of the contrast between the clothes and the background. Would have like to see the grass extend past the top of the runners head instead of that bright area.
