this photo will probably not be very popular and will not win any ribbons or praise, but I am submiting it anyway cause I really like it, this is what speed looks like to me

I wish the bird were more in focus. The blur in the background is great!

This is quite a nice shot. For the challenge I think the bird could have been a bit sharper to attract attention.

Motion blur is great. The panning on the bird is not as great. I would've liked to seen him frozen in time with the big motion blur.

Wow really gives the feeling of speed. Nice abstract shot, colors are great also.

Birds are hard to photograph because you can't always get them to fly right by you like this one. If your shutter speed was set just a little faster you may have been able to freeze the bird yet still have a blured background. It's all about practice and timing. Good attempt.

better if you can catch the bird focused with a blurry background

Good attempt at capturing a bird in flight. It's a shame the bird isn't a little crisper, but I've never tried doing this myself so I suspect this is quite good for an amateur. Having the tree behind the bird actually helps from a contrast point of view - well done.
