it looks like you made the contrast negative. It looks like you took this during the middle of the day... it's bright out.... ITS SO PLAIN, where are the colors, where is the contrast.

i was looking for something to give me the feeling of 'early in the morning'--this looks more like early in the afternoon. as a photograph, i like the composition, but think it could use a little post-processing; as is, it is a little flat and a little soft, and doesn't really lead me anywhere.

Somehow, the picture just doesn't evoke any emotion from me; it doesn't have a "feel." All I see, really, is a horribly under-saturated photograph.

Was the sun really shining this brightly at 4-5am? Guess it depends on where you live. Pitch black at east coast USA. Good concept and composition. Not sure the B&W adds anything.

Hmm, not going to vote off topic but it really doesn´t look like it´s taken at 4 or 5 in the morning, way too bright outside and the only place this time of year that it´s bright enough for a photo like this at that hour is in the south pole and this doesn´t look like it´s from there.... This shot is way way too flat for my taste, would appeal more to me if it had a lot more contrast.
