I swear I'm going to get chewed up for things like oversharpening and that blown-out light spot and the grain or something, but I really like this picture (I also like it when they're dark and somewhat over-processed and grainy and crumpled up, but that's just me) so we'll see.
The grain is intentional, honest ;_;
Shh, not actually taken between 4-5am, but it seemed to convey that obscenely early mood.
Shot from the courtyard of one of the dorm buildings through an alleyway into the parking lot.

Not every photo should be crisp, clear and impeccably focussed, imo. Regardless of the time, you caught that still-grit-in-my-eyes mood with this, the graininess works for me. I like the flatness and the starkness of it, and the limited color range. It's sallow. I guess if I could wish something for the photo, I'd want to stick something in that parking lot, because that's where my eyes go, led by the lines of the bldgs. I do however get to see the snowfall in the light, which is very harsh, realistic and not dreamy at all, good. Yah.
this shot look like it was taken at the time that is given... i like the shot.... it doesnt say much but i can work with it.... i dont know if you add grain to the picture or whether its noise.... it could be sharper but hey things happen... nice job
