Decided to get up and try and do some macro type of shots. At 4am I didn't notice the little things that can really mess up a photo.

While this was shot in the time frame, there's nothing in the shot that suggests what time it is. It could have just as easily been shot during the day.

If this is what you were really looking at between 4 and 5am you might be working too hard, take a break.

Huh? I don't get this title. Are you saying the photo is not good? Why did you submit it then? Bad noise in this shot, you should try not to shoot at this ISO. Very uninspired composition. Why did you take this shot? What are you trying to communicate with it?

The clarity of this macro photo is well deserving of admiration. An excellent picture with a well chosen subject as compass. 9

Definitely as the title says. Very grainy and unfocused. I don't mean to criticise, since I'm a horrible photographer. I gave a 3 on this because of the whole quality of the composition. With of course a few points meeting the challenge. I don't think it fits the challenge very well at all. I just can't grasp the concept of it. I applaud for the effort though. The picture is a bit too dark as well. Sorry.

I must be missing something...I just don't get how this relates to "too early".

yeah your right because the image is not sharp at alll. and it doesnt fit the challenge

This may have been taken between 4:00 and 5:00 AM but there is nothing in the photo that relates to the spirit of the challenge.

I fail to see the relevance to the 4-5am challenge

Nice macro. I struggle to relate it strongly with the theme though.

Maybe I'm missing the point, but I don't see how this one fits the challenge subject.

DOF is a little of. The center wheel is a little fuzzy. Subject is also a little confusing.

What does this have to do with 4:00-5:00 am?

Nope. It's a perfect macro. But it doesn't look like it was taken in the wee hours of the mornin' ;-) Good luck.

your title indicates that you are not happy with the result of the image- so i am curious as to why you entered (update addict?). I have to say, i agree with the title.
