If it weren't for dsidwell i would've never known that was a moth! I've never seen such a colorful moth.
I like the border... but there's a spot just above the right wing that bothers me.

| Actually, that's a moth! (But I'll keep that a secret). The border here distracts me just a tad, but the photo is very nice. Composition is very good. |

| Ugly border, decent subject and lighting. I wish the focus gave more blur, but it's hard to do digitally (maybe use a telephoto lens?). Ugly bord... oh wait, I said that. :) 7 |

| Don't like the border. Not a particularly good choice of border esp for this photo as it is crowding the left antenna. It should have sufficient breathing room except for the border. I hate marking down for them, but this one has gone too far. |

| Holy smokes. Great capture of the butterfly, lovely color, good design. Then that border! It detracts terribly! I passed this photo by several times, not wanting to like what's featured. When I finally dragged my eyes from the border, I LOVE the photo. (Hate the border though. Sorry.) It should be a 9, but ... 7. |

| The detail of your frame pulls the eye away for the detail of the butterfly. Nice capture of the butterfly. Perhaps just a little sharper. I have tried numerous times to photograph a butterfly but I have yet to be successful. I even went to a butterfly exhibition and came back empty. So, I am very impressed with this shot. |

Nice shot. I like that the details are visible on the butterfly, and the colors are good as well.
Just a side note (and doesn't effect the score) -- I think this border kinda detracts from the image. The inconsistent shape draws the eyes away from the butterfly, I think. But that is just my opinion |

| Very , very nice. I have mixed feeeling about the frame. Sort of draws me away from the butterfly. Also, less space on the left. And clean your lens!!!! Still got a hig mark from me. |

| This could have scored so much more from me without that terrible border. I can't tell you how much it spoils your photo by distracting the eye. Stop it! Perhaps a little less dof to blur the leaves a little more would have helped. 8 |
