needed a little more light - perhaps a collection of candles behind him to backlight his face a little. One inside the guitar would have been cool - but yeh, wouldnt want to ruin the guitar! |

this is a very noisy shot, taking it to B&W may have enhanced the image and brought the lighting out just as well as the color version
also as far as model chords go pick a different shape, maybe use the open D chord shape and just move it up the neck....its doesn't need to soud good but it makes a better more natural pose chord.....the less fingers u have on the neck the less cluttered the image the better, cleaner and more realstic the image. GL (glad to see some1 plays finger style) |

I wish I could see the candle but I do like the lighting in this. |

like the idea and the set up for the shot. don't like the noise pixels apparent in his face and hand or the object in the lower right corner covering the bottom piece of the guitar and his arm. (duh, I see it now, that's his leg!)

Nothing really seems to be in focus, I don't know if you intended the shot to be that way. Also the halo effect around the person on the right and the scratches on the guitar surface are distracting (level adjustment in photoshop would have helped). |
