i thought this image might look strong cropped to alliviate the negative space - but i tried it and it did not. Perhaps a lower angle might have made the scene more interesting. If you are having trouble focusing in low light, try turning the lights on to focus the image, and then turning off again to take the picture for the glow effect.

Soft golden glow really is captured so well in this image, I like this composition.

Very pretty lighting. It's nice how the tinsel doesn't overpower by having too many hot spots. It is a bit too centeredand I feel like something is lacking/missing.
