great exposure, dead on. Good composition. I love the use of more textured hands, it creates interest with shadows from the candle. |

I love the feel of this image. The lighting and color are right on and the hands just add so much more. Good luck |

A favorite for this challenge. You really succeeded in delivering a powerfully simple image. May have liked to have seen the flame a little more glowy to enhance the color on the hands but not a big deal... well done

One of my top picks for this challenge. I like the idea of adding the hands in there... it's better than just looking at the candle alone, and gives a feeling of warmth. |

6 - Met the Challenge fairly well in my opinion - "Use candlelight to create the impact of your photo.". Criticism; difficult, but perhaps an even tighter cropping on either side may have given this even more impact. The symmetry seems fairly good, detail in the skin is good, perhaps a little toning down of the skin color may have also made this better, not sure. Re your title, I guess to 'nit-pick', the 'hands' pose' should be more 'cupped', but minor - but your title does attract some attention to it (but yes I realize you are/were likely trying to attain an abstract 'shape' at the rear, which you have done). Difficult also, but even more detail in the texture of the skin (especially palms/'inside') may have also made this even better in my opinion. |

I like how you have used the candle and brought out the details in the hands. Very good work. It does appear to be slightly heavier to the right because of the the angle of the candle and hands, which is not really a problem .. That's only something someone who's picky like me would notice.
Well done.
