Since part of the building is cropped any way, I think I would have cropped a little more off of the top, and placed the animal a little more up in the picture. Not much, but maybe a touch.

I like this a lot. It's humorous and well composed.

Not sure why you cut off the top of the building...work on framing.

Totally fun shot. I'd have tried rotating it just slightly counter-clockwise to make sure the building was as perfectly vertical as possible. Your file size is about half what it could be and this has introduced some compression artifcats (especially noticeable around the moose). The sky is a little bit *blah* but there isn't anything you could do about that (I'd suggest shooting this at sunrise or sunset). Finally, there appear to be some kind of wires in the shot but I can't be sure what they are or where they go. It may be that you can't do anything about them -- but I'd clean 'em up in an editing program afterward to make this even better.

Chuckling. Nice persective.

Looks scanned with some wires cloned out. Score of 8 assumes a legitimate image, however. If I am correct about the cloning/scanning, please refer to www.dpchallenge.com/help_rules.asp

A moose taking a dive. Funny!
06/27/2002 10:30:00 PM
I hope they were able to talk the moose down...
06/26/2002 04:54:00 PM
cool

First of all, i really like this image and I'm voting it accordingly. I am concerned with some things I see in this photo though... The vertical lines indicate scanning and it also appears that some wires or something have been edited out of the image. there are some diagonals (slight diagonals) running across the frame that look strange. score = 7 - jmsetzler

What are the lines and pixels all over this ???????
06/25/2002 06:51:00 PM
Very interesting to look at.

Nice photo. I'm seeing something weird. There's a faint checker board pattern and some horizontal lines in the sky...I'm curious as to what they could be.

Great shot. Very good perspective. I hear Toronto is a very cool city to visit. It's on my list of travel destinations.

nice shot. good juxtaposition between nature and the man-made monolith. the only thing that bothers me is the tight crop at the top. would have liked the top of the building to be in the frame.
06/24/2002 11:14:00 PM
IMHO, would like to have seen the top of the building kept in frame but other than that a nice photo "7". Dogman.

I like the feeling of this one. For me it does capture the spirit of Toronto. By the way, who won?
06/24/2002 04:42:00 PM
Pretty cool. What building is the moose for? I like this photo - good image quality.
06/24/2002 03:13:00 PM
Nice work - but you should have included the top of the building. Image quality is also rather poor and I notice it is less than half of the allowed size. Be easy on the compression...
06/24/2002 03:02:00 PM
Nice shot!
06/24/2002 01:31:00 PM
I think other people will mention this but...what a shame you clipped the top of the building! This is a good shot that would have been great.
06/24/2002 01:15:00 PM
The top of the pix needs to be cropped down to where the building meets the sky on the left side of the pix. Otherwise good pix---nice moose!
06/24/2002 12:58:00 PM
I really think this is cool. Wonderful. Good eye. Kee

Did you take this shot through a windows? I see a faint pattern in the sky, sort of like the windows of the building to the left. It's distracting, but not killer bad. Photo 9 City 9 total 9
06/24/2002 11:41:00 AM
LoL, now I have to go to Toronto just so I can stand under that and yell "Don't Jump!!!" Great shot. The top of the building being cut off distracted me just a little, but no big deal.
06/24/2002 08:55:00 AM
nice... : )
06/24/2002 07:58:00 AM
this is great!
06/24/2002 07:53:00 AM
haha...too cool. Only concern it the tip of the building being cut off.
06/24/2002 04:01:00 AM
What are the odd lines in the sky? Wires? Too much jpeg compression? Fun picture though.
06/23/2002 09:07:00 PM
interesting architecture...
06/23/2002 08:57:00 PM
Great shot! However, the building doesn't appear 'true vertical'.
