 I had this up in the Too Early Challenge. After reading the Challenge description again I thought it really didn't suit the challenge so took it down. Now, I kind of wish I had left it as several of the entries are showing early in the same way this photo does.

I enjoy strolling through the old graveyards from time to time. It's so interesting seeing sayings and such with real meaning to them (you don't see that too often on newer stones). It's sad when you see a stone like this since the girl was so young at the time of her passing. The lighting on this is great. Very nicely done! And yes, you should have entered it, it would have done VERY well. :)

I agree, you should have left it in. I like it but I'm one who likes graveyard shots.

The stone is remarkably well preserved given it's age. Nice lighting on the grasses and good exposure on the stone itself.
