 Sorry about the title....I googled...well MSN'd it...I liked the sound of it. Does this convey the title? I hope so.
As my sister will readily tell you, I am a avowed pack rat. I never through anything away. I bought these flowers to shoot. Never did when they were fresh. But then this challenge comes up and there they were. These and a few others. Just liked the detail and lighting of this the best. Also liked that the vase turned out OK as well.
Post: Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. USM. Crop. Resize. USM.

It's beautiful in it's ugliness. Maybe shade the lights a bit and turn the vase a quarter turn. I like the patter, but think it distracts from the lovely flowers.

Great lighting, great contrast/sharpness, great camera positioning, and really represents the challenge title well. My only "10"
