Poppy (Iceland) in early bud stage.

This is my first official 'tiny shoehorn' for a Challenge. Hoping it 'fits' the Challenge description enough.

Post Challenge
'DMC' - Didn't Meet Challenge. This Challenge was a difficult one to 'portray' - "Compose a photograph and shoot it as if you were too early." - I 'failed' (in my interpretation of it), so went to the 'next rung down' and photographed something that was 'too early' - the young, still not upright, bud of a poppy. Thanks for the votes & comments, especially those who 'questioned it' - you were right.

Great detail and sharpness in this. While I like the water drop, with only one, it feels a bit odd to me. I think either more water, or no water might be interesting as well. Nice job!

Quite an unusual plant. Nice use of depth of focus. I love the detail of the hairs on the stem and pod.

Interesting shot, but too early for what?

it is quite difficult to tally this kind of photograph, if one wants to be traditional one applies the rule of three, therefore the stem on the left tier and the ball of hairs on a gold point. Difficult to be able to combine both.

Wow, That is very nice. Love all the hairs(?) on it, Wonderful detail. I am assuming it is some type of flower?

"Hair rising" because something is too early? If so, what?

Whoa, someone's french. (Some of the french don't shave.. Just a random fact. But I think that they're cool nonetheless, don't get me wrong.) Haha, interesting photo, it's really cool, nice dew.

Super, dooper, macro shot, well done. This should place in the top 10, and it could even be a winner.
