Thanks for all the great feedback. I wanted to at least explain some of the issues with the photo.
I was acutaly traveling in CA during the challenge and remembered the deadline. I kind of hacked together a reduced size on someone's laptop without using any software (I used www.pxn8.com)
I agree that it's lacking a good bit in the contrast but that was a mid-day issue (recall this was a last minute thing).
I thought that this would be pretty cliche as well, but then I didn't see anyone else in the competition doing the same thing. Not as cliche as I thought.
Thanks again for all the comments! |

Nice pic, I wish it were bigger, it also seems a bit washed out in the area of the tree line. Perhaps more contrast is needed. |

Cliche' and trite ... if you're using death in this challenge, it would be more appealing to make it more personal that to shoot graves in mass with no subject. Try adding a mourner and perhaps focusing on one grave. |

Certainly late. Now, when you enter a challenge you must do whatever to take advantage of your alloted space. To come in too small will always cost you. |

There's a link in the tutorials section on how best to prepare images for submission. Your entry appears too small and I suspect you'll be heavily penalized by voters because of this. Good luck with your next entry. |

Better lighting would have made this better. |

Nice photo, but without the title, I'd never guess that this image had anything to do with the concept of "too late"
