Talk about clearing out quick!

I don't like the composition. Too much boring street/foreground. 3 sjgleah

I don't know if this is really life. Perhaps you could have called it "Ghost Town".

'Where have all the people gone, long time passing...' The becklighting works good for this picture, did you desaturate the color a touch? One of my top ten picks this week.

wow. dead. pic could use some levelling to get the ground and sky more equal. as it is the ground is a little dark.

Sleepy town, how did you get this shot without anybody in it (I would have thought this was Before 5 AM!, not after 5 PM, as I am assuming your title..)
A Very Good Photo, but the sun setting above the hotel is hard to look at. I like the reflections in the windows. Wierd how pinstripping in digital comes out jagged and blurred, but that's the nature of this beastie (shades) Photo 8 City 6 total 7

Why shoot into the sun? Where is the life here? It looks like a ghost town. Is

I like this photo. It captures the mood ot this place quite well. I even like the small amout of flair at the top of the hotel.

Wow. Virtual ghost town. A little over exposed in the sky. Too bad you couldn't get someone to sit in one of the chairs, or look out one of the windows. Not taking points off for that, just a wish - perhaps you wished this too.

I might have waited for the sun to go further down and then done a long exposure,.. the sun makes the image a bit washed out

I like your hotel shot but I'm not very keen on the angle of the sun. I think this shot would have been a lot nicer about 20 minutes or so later in the day when the sun had fallen a little lower. Shooting into the sun has caused a little over exposure and washout in the top part of this image. = 6 jmsetzler

the glare from the sun in a bit distracting - but otherwise a nice photo

Maybe abit too much of the road is on view at the bottom, a good crop may help.

Where is the life?

Looks like some trouble with the resampling. That aside, a bit overexposed near the lamp. But I do like the picture. Is this one of those ghost towns I heard about on NPR? haha Good job.

Emptiness is eery. Nice work.

This is a great subject. I think it would be a lot better to be closer and lose some of the street that takes up 90% of the photo.
