Just crop this a little tighter and adjust the white point to get a better range of tones and the picture improves greatly.

I like the snow and the softness of the picture. Did you try a BW conversion?

The scene is beautiful but there is too much importance on the top of the photograph, a tighter framing would have given a beautiful stereotype

I like the composition, with one steer nearer than the rest and off-center. I don't like the tilt, and your connection to the challenge is quite tenuous.

When taking shots of animals and livestock I find it useful to try and take the shot when there is clear space between each animal. This is difficult and means you need to wait and wait and wait, but the results are usually much cleaner.
