Hey... I just found out how to edit details. I always wondered how they made post challenge remarks...

Anyways, this was last minute and I had no time to really look at my images. I did, however, see the reflection and it drove me nuts. But I was dumb and I entered anyway.

Your idea is very creative, but it would have been better for me if they looked like they were hanging. For me this looks like you were holding up the flatware and then rotated the picture so they appear to be upside down. The spoon being cropped off is not a appealing composition. I like the green of the tree and the gold ribbon...very nice touch. When photographing something so reflective, you really have to watch for well...reflections! If you WANT reflections, make sure that it adds to the overall image and doesn't take away or distract the viewer, if you don't want them...use whatever means to block your reflective surface with paper, posterboard...I have used a plate before, even a sheet will work. The color seems a little flat too. This may have been the look you were going for, but the colors of the photograph blend together, would have made more of a statement if something had POP to it. Your white balance is off some, but sometimes I do this on purpose and you may have to for a certain look. Just wanted to let you know that I noticed it. Good luck in future challenges.

Very interesting concept! Great job on creativity for this shot. The addition of some colored lights or perhaps some other ornaments might play off the silverware nicely.

I think the white balance on this could use a little adjusting and I'm not really feeling the crop on this either.. good luck in this challenge though!

Interesting concept. A little more light on the cutlery may have made them stand out more.

The camera in the spoon is a little distracting. I like how you placed them and the kind of gold glow they have
