** Greetings from the Critique Club **

What a cute, creative shot. I really liked it as it makes you laugh. I like shots that evoke emotions - whether it be laughter or tears.
Technical points - the colors are nice and crisp, but the focus is lacking. Not sure if you tried applying some un-sharp mask, but if not I would go back and try it. The white background is an excellent choice here. Composition is also executed well.

Congratulations on an EXCELLENT finish. I thought the composition was very good....great use of thirds. Also, very creative use of the topic, to add humor and interest to the image. Lighting may be a little harsh but this is hard to compose with the different elements of the photo (glare of knife, deep orange color, etc.

In terms of the vocal minority who chose THIS entry to complain that it was in poor taste, all I can say is....you've got to be kidding. If this image upsets you, then you better stay locked in your house with no TV or radio on.

"" You Wish "" !! Very poor taste. There are young children on this site and I personally think this is a pathetic attempt at humor. Try concentrating a little more on lighting and focus, rather than eroticism.

Bittersweet.... Hilarious on one hand , you've got way too much free time on the other. Photo has a great comp but is a bit overexposed. Great Idea!

crerative image, but not sure if you really did this with this knife as I would have used a pairing knife, but very well done

HAHAHA. Certainly didn't notice that in the thumbnail. I wonder if this violates the no penis rule? Hmmm? LOL. Very nice focus and clarity, love the idea it's definately clever and original. The lighting creates some shadows that are a bit distracting and the texture of the white surface doesn't add to the image in my opinion either. Cute. Made me laugh. ~Heather~
