The subtle look on the boy is great....sort of apologetic and smiling with a pinch of embarrasment thrown in for good measure. Interesting take on the challenge and one I like.

7 - One of the very few who actually 'Met the Challenge' (my interpretation at least), well done, it was not easy. Criticism; difficult given the nature of the Challenge.. perhaps some more space on the right, who knows. Up to 7 from 6 (the child's face also 'shows' 'too late' so well done).

Cute and cute idea, almost didn't get it - how about a title like "Shutter Lag" or "Shutter finger lag."

the kid is cute, but the dog seems a bit too... mmm I don't know, I don't love dogs and this one doesn't seem too appealing to me, good pose for the kid. Sorry about the shadow on his cheek

I love his resigned expression. Really nice crisp focus. The overall monochromatic tones work too. The focus on the eyes is tack on. 9
