 Pretty simple. I set up for a self portrait using a bounce flash and remote-fired the shutter while attempting to reach the seat. Contrary to the title, the self-timer was not used. The big question was how much of me to have in the picture. I decided for a small amount to show off that heirloom rocker :-)

Post-processing consisted of curves, resize, and USM.

6 - One of the very few who actually 'Met the Challenge' (my interpretation at least), well done, it was not easy. Criticism; difficult given the 'true nature' of the Challenge, but the lighting, composition and possibly cropping could all use improvement, in my opinion.

Yes, the photographer was a bit "too early" and the subject a bit "too late". Love the concept, esp as the photographer and subject are the same but fault of the timing the opposite. Good luck 7

The chair is beautiful but what disturbs to me is the end of leg which one sees on the right side of the photograph

Ha Ha, It took me a minute to figure this one out, but it made me laugh. Been there! Good one, and one of the very few that seem to meet the letter of the challenge in IMHO. 10

At first when I saw your title I thought of the Too Late challenge thinking you were too late getting to the chair but then decided it could be Too Early since the camera clicked before you got there. Good job. One of the very very few that actually captured the spirit of the challenge and snapped the picture too early. Good lighting and setup, would have liked a little motion blur to make it really look like you were in a rush but still a good image. Good luck.

Nice theme, but the result has ended up a little bland. Nothing really for the eye to fall onto here, needs something like a glass of wine falling over too ;-)
