Plasticine/Play-Doh 'pills' in a dosette.
pp; rotate, crop, cloned out 'flash' reflection/glare in the centre, adjusted hue from red to 'gold', selective sharpening of 'pills' and softening/blur on white plastic base
Poor quality, but submitted anyway.
Post Challenge
Ok receiving a few views now, so will post a comment. Firstly the quality (and execution, including 'pills') of this is really poor and I think it is/was the 'idea' that mostly carried this. However, thank you to those who commented and voted it high'ish'. A little surprised at 15th place, but there you go.
I 'read' this Challenge as a 'visual' of Adulthood Without Adults, to "complement the Childhood Without Children challenge", which on a quick look through, I saw no adults nor children, so assumed the same would apply to this Challenge. I guess not many people looked at the first Challenge &/or interpreted it the same way I did. Although I did not enter that Challenge, I think it is/was more difficult to 'capture/portray' adulthood than childhood (not meant derogatory - I thought the pictures from that Childhood Challenge were excellent portrayals).

A wonderful composition to bring art to the realm of the adult medication. Presented just as beautiful as a curio cabinet shelve. Congratulations on your top 20 finish. |

a clever image but I must admit those pebbles do not look like meds. That's probably my biggest complaint here. The idea is there, the execution is there but the meds don't look real. |

Great idea - I never thought of this. Light, colors and border all work in this one. 8 |

This has perfect symmetry and is quite visually appealing even before you realize it was a weekly pill dispenser. What makes it fun is that although the pills are all identical, they aren't in the exact same position so it breaks up the monotony. The frame caps it off. |
