Taken on a hill in my home town. I pointed my camera at the this wierd stone and at this at the lake (Urriðakotsvatn.
I saw this stone made by humans almost in the middle of nowhere so I looked upp why this stone was there, this is so called County-Line marker-stone.(Sýslumarkarsteinar)
Shoot, crop, convert to grayscale, some curves, put the frame on and send in. Hope you enjoy this

Maybe should be more off center.

Ãsland?
A tight crop, would maybe want a bit more of the skyline

? Is that a dry lake bed?

Personally, I like to see more contrast in B&W photos. With the exceptions of the white patch and sky, everything sort of blends together here.

I really like the concept of this photo and the title. It's seems a little flat though. I'd actually really like to see it in colour because the country side looks amazing.

I'm not sure what I'm looking at. Is it a grave marker? Might have been nice to take the picture a little more to the right and offset it a little to show the whole pond in the background without the marker obstructing it. 6 Good luck in the challenge.

It's a very dark photo - perhaps deliberately. Also, I don't think the border adds anything to this shot - would be better without.
