 Taken in Minehead, Exmoor on a dark, cloudy day. This is actually a close up of a stone sculpture located near the harbor. I was attracted to its form and shape. I think that this picture reflects well the coldness of the day on which the picture was taken but yet conveys a hope of warmth that we associate with human touch.

Post-processing: levels, saturation, contrast, removed a few minor dirt spots, resized, USM, framed.

Nice study of just a small detail of a sculpture. I like how that allows us to focus on texture and weathering and even the marks of the sculpteur's chisel/ tools. Works well. COmposition feels a touch top heavy.
