 Shot taken around sunset on the Galway Bay in Ireland. I do not yet own any graduated filters, so I held my hand over part of my lens for the first 9 seconds to try to expose the sky correctly. I then converted from RAW, made adjustments to the levels, curves, saturation, and balence the colors. I did a lot of cloning to remove some floating junk from the water to clean up the image, then saved for the web.

Such an inviting image with a tempting low key coloration. The rising rocks and the quiet waters graced by the lovely distant water and sky gives this image that unique serene view. It is powerfull enough and shows no apparant flaws. Bumping up.

8 - Very nice. Criticism; difficult, but perhaps a little more detail in the fore rocks (if possible without losing the excellent focus as is), may have made this even better and given it an extra element. The cropping (depending what you had to work with) works well, but perhaps a slight adjustment, off-setting more, or balancing more, who knows.

I like the foreground of this shot, background is a little soft, though. Maybe too long an exposure?
