original comment: (cool shot, even if it isn't lightning. Doesn't strike me as odd, though.) I mis-read it. I thought it said "lightning." Surreal, gorgeous. It looks like a trail of sparks. Is it just the light hitting the snow on the right side of the road?

Amazing. Definately one of those photos that makes me go "wow". A long exposure shot? Maybe that explains the over exposed warm lights to the right. But not really something to worry too much about, since most viewers attention would be directed to the red house at the far end of the road. Good leading lines.
