 A warm November day in New England often provides a great opportunity to photograph a foggy morning. So it was on this day. Prior to sunrise, I setup my camera and tripod along the bank of Bluefish River in Duxbury, MA and waited approximately an hour for the lighting effect I was looking for.

Some editing was done for noise, contrast, saturation, and the removal of a small distracting manufacturers decal on the rear quarter of the hull.

The low contrast works well here. The boat in the background is adding to the image without distracting from the main subject of focus. 6.

I think it's strange that people always title their photos with the only text already available on the screen - I've done the same -- it works here because it draws the person in to the innocence of the humanity in this subject - just an observation! I also like the boat in the distance - I'm guessingg people will see that and think ---ooooh ... I bet no one saw that :) ... 7

Nice moody shot, I like the inclusion of the boat in the distance, any clearer would have spoilt the main subject, just right. good luck.
