 Editing: Crop & slightly rotate, levels, darken highlights, levels on blue channel only, noise removal, resize, unsharp mask, add border, save for web.

This is the old stack to the silver smelter in Salida, Colorado. The smelter is torn down but they left the stack. I was hoping to get it with the last rays of the sun on it but we got there a bit too late and it will have to be a silhouette. It looks like a big one against the sky and is also 1 thing so suits the challenge in two ways. It is also kind of odd looking so suits it in another.

Sammie, Just going through your portfolio, I always enjoy that. I would have guessed this one too. Mt. Shavano is always so purty. But didn't vote on this challenge. Nice Shot. Van

Not so interesting sky and the foreground is underexposed IMO. Impressive chimney, but a little less silhoutte would have improved this picture IMO.

I sense there's a certain phallic symbolism in your image, but I'm not sure from what.
