I had to play around with the crop/border/saturation a little. Hope you don't mind.

Very nice catwork, didn't expect this to get such a low rating. Your cats are wonderful subjects. |

I was surprised also this didn't place higher. It has such claity and the expressions are priceless. I stated on another cat shot that I think people either love or hate cats and think it does effect how people score them. |

I am amazed at how low the placement was. I had this for top 10. Sure, it wasn't a landscape, but that's part of the reason I loved it. Really great capture in my opinion. |

It must have been tough to get two cats both looking at the camera. Of course, now I notice that one of them isn't quite looking in the same direction as the other, which is kind of weird. |

The two complement each other nicely. Add a little USM, and this would make a nice calendar photo for cat lovers. (It isn't very compelling for those who don't love cats, but then, it doesn't have to be!) |

Nice nice nice! What an excellent portrait you have accomplished here! I know photographing cats is not an easy task at all, such the stubborn little "people" they are, you should be very proud of this image, absolutely wonderful...very well done. |

Not bad. I can only imagine how difficult it was to get them to cooperate... Focus seems decent on the eyes, but a little too soft on the noses, so a larger DOF might be in order. Some sharpening might help a little though. All in all, there is little to complain about, but among the rest of the photos it really doesn't stand out. A more interesting (or more contrasting), yet not distracting background might help. |

the whites of the cat on the left seem to blend into the B/G too much for me. Great pin-sharp eyes. |

Wow I am really impressed you got these two cats to sit side by side and both look at the camera! The lighting, colour ,everything is great you should consider a career in pet photography! |

6 - Nice, fairly good color control, especially with the white on white. Criticism; would like to have seen a uniform colored background, or else a more 'dappled'/'even' one; seems it goes from pink-white to blue-white from left to right. I think if the background was perhaps darker, a little sharper focus, especially on the eyes (but you may have been going for a 'soft look'), would have made this better in my opinion. The cat on the left seems like he is being 'edged' out a little by the fluffier one, so perhaps a different angle or even a rotation, not sure. edit:typo

Gorgeous! I love how the one on the left has some of the same colour. Great job to get them both so close together and attentive as well. I love cat shots. |
