Just to answer a few of the comments on this. First of all, the highway totally covers the arches. You can notice this if you see where the outside support is for the road. I could have achieved getting it out of the photo, but I would have had no shadows. Second, there was no definition to the sky. This is Dallas. Smog. What more can I say? Third, yes, the poles are out of focus. I goofed! Personally, I liked this shot from the other side, but seeing a Hooters in the background stole from it. I'll post a link to it as soon as I have a chance to upload it.

Would like more definition of the sky.

great shot. wish the overpass wasn't there, but some things are out of our control. great lines and shadows.

Wow, A natural shot with an interesting design. Shooting into the sun adds some difficulty to the shot as well - Nice job -

Nicely shot. Wondering if you could've gotten the bridge out of the frame.

I am a sucker for nice patterns and I have seen some good ones in this challenge... yours works very well for me also and the black and white was a nice choice on this photo... great shot! = 8 - jmsetzler

This shot is very well done. I like that on one level, it almost conveys a sense of quiet stillness, but then also gives this sense of motions in the lines.

Great stark lighting makes great shadows!

I like this image.....I would like it more if the high ceiling were not in the photo, but you have no control over that. Good idea.

Nice black and white, strong composition. The slight tilt is a bit distracting, but not overly so.

May be a slightly lower point of view would have allowed you more white space in the frame, and that would have emphasized the curved elements more and the top dark patch int he composition would have disturbed less.
i like the shadow coming straight into the viewer, that creates a direct contact with the image.

I love perspective shots like that. B&w works well. Your posts aren't quite vertical. Still in my top 10 this week.

The lines are great in this photo how it cruves at top comes down and then curves to the right to join up again. Great photo.

Good use of line and convergence. Framing is well done and depth of field works well with this shot. B&W also is major asset to this picture. Sky is a bit harsh but bright sky is what made the shadows.

Where was this shoot? It is ok

I'm a sucker for geometry and shapes, and you've done a great job with your shot setup to give this photograph such wonderful balance. The only thing I don't like is that the poles in the left-middle of the photograph seem slightly out of focus, and they seem the most important to me. Nice job, though.

Nice graphic design. Good use of tonalities.

Live framing and composition, B&W was an excellent choice.

Cool shot, nice long shadows.

This is a very interesting photograph. I wish the focus was a little harder, but the feeling of depth is very good. Some of the things is the background are a little distracting, but not horribly so IMO.
