Well I have to say thank you to everyone for the great comments and scores on this challenge. Only my 4th challenge and in the top 10, nearly impossible for me to even imagine, let alone it happen. This was actually a last ditch effort to get in the challenge after 3 nights of trying something totally different, which now I am glad didnt work out. This is the best shot I have ever taken, and I owe my getting better to being a member of this site. Thanks again. And I hope some day to join the top 10 again.

This is a wonderful picture. The illumination of picture and the mind (metaphorically) make this shot cohesive. Good looking boy, too. I hope this ribbons.

Great lighting and artfully done. BUT (this is nitpicking) if he were a scholar, wouldn't he be looking at words, and not images? Just a thought. Great composition.
