This is another good example of how the dpc community sometimes (too many times) under rates an excellent image. Who could possibly vote a 4, a 3 or a 1 for this image!!?? You got to be out of your mind to do that!!. This photo is AWESOME. Congratulations!!

Alecia,

Congrats on your 6th! This should have placed higher IMHO. Great execution in this challenge and a beautiful study in b/w.

This is by far the best shot in this challenge, in my opinion, 10

Cute! Well composed and lit. The crop adds enough mystery, the complementary patterns and the monochrome treatment work well. 9

great idea and well executed. I find the chin & arm slightly distracting.

Meow, indeed! Very nicely done all around. Great crispness, awesome toning, and the model ain't so shabby either! One of my two 10s this time around.

Very nice. I would eliminate the hand and chin areas though.

My favorite of all so far..... only 10 that I have given out

Suits the challenge well. Perhaps a little more contrast would have given it a bit more zing and perhaps a bit of change in the crop so her very shapely behind was more on one of the thirds. Also, the border is a bit wide for this narrow of a picture.

gorgeous contours, but I wish that the composition were a bit less abstract! I think this would have met the challenge with no less finesse if you had shown more (or the whole) of the model

I like this alot, but not in the black and white. By it being b/w, I can't tell if she is in purple leopard and the others are orange and green for all I know. However, I do like it as a b/w. I had a similar idea - had I had that body!! LOL....
11/15/2005 07:42:28 PM
certainly a horse of a different color. I think having the point of her chin in frame is a weak element.
